They say better late than never... and I say it was worth it.
April from Aprilcsimpson.blogspot sent me some wonderful treats.
My kids were most excited for the brownies but for me it is the coffee mug
that will come in great use and the beautiful hair clips. The lip gloss
will come in good use in this cold weather.... Thanks April, hope you enjoyed
your goodies as much as I do.

A letter to my Sweetheart

Dear Hubby,

It was back in high school some 27 years ago that I fell in love with you.
I remember the way you would hold my hand while we walked down the hall, like I was your girl... even though I knew I was not... I loved the way you would let me where your Football Jacket when I was cold. Our entire senior year we had the biggest crush on each other but for some reason, neither of us could admit it. I still remember that kiss you snuck in Horticulture class, only to get caught by Coach. But our love was not meant to be in 1983.

Our lives took us in diffent direction until our paths crossed briefly in 93. But as fate would have it, we were both once again going in differnt directions.
UNTIL....

The day I walked back into your life on November 9th,1999, I knew that this time it would be forever.

These last 8 years, you have loved me, cared for me and comforted me more than I ever thought was possible. When I look in your eyes, I know that I am safe. I know that I am loved... Even when I give you reason to want to head for the hills with my emotional ups and downs... with my need to control... with my bad habits that drive you crazy.. you stay. Not only do you stay, you always make me feel like I am special. But it is not only the way you love me that makes you special, it is the way you read to your son eveynight even when you worked 14 hours and are bone tired. It is the way you have opened your heart to love my boys despite the pain they have caused. It is all the little things you sacrafice for us all.

Computer Moron

I take the day off to get Chance all settled with his new Drivers Liscence, Insurance and car transfered in his name... sounds easy right.... NOT.

First trip to the DL, not the correct documents... 9:15 AM
Second trip... he failed eye test. REALLY... 10:15. Now we have to go to get eye test and glasses. Surely this was not part of the plan.
Third trip... successful but now it is 12:45.

Insurance and Tag uneventful..... Thank GOD. but wait the fun is just beginning.

For days now, we are trying to get Chance computer hooked up so he can happily be playing his games. I have spoken to three different people and each time I am told " All you need is this" Apparently not because I have gotten everything they told me and needless to say so far I am out $100.00 and still cannot get him hooked up. Today was the breaking point because I have these people I think from China somewhere tell me do this and do that and I don't understand a word they are saying...


Really, does anyone out there know how to get wireless access..................
I know I live in the middle of no where but this is 2010.
